A free LLC cost calculator you can embed in a blog post or resource page. It shows filing fees, first-year and yearly state costs for all 50 states and DC, each figure linked to its official source and re-checked every week.

How to add it

WordPress (block editor): add a Custom HTML block and paste the recommended code. On WordPress.com plans that strip scripts, use the no-script version.
Squarespace: add a Code block (Business plan or higher for scripts) and paste the code.
Ghost: add an HTML card and paste the code.
Anything else: paste it where you'd like the calculator to appear. It fills the width of its container (minimum about 280px) and adjusts its height automatically.

Free to use on any site, commercial or not.
Keep the "LLC fees by FormCost" credit visible. It's nofollow by default; you don't have to change that.
Don't alter, hide or overlay the figures, badges or disclaimer.
We update fees as states change them, and we may change or retire the widget. It's provided as is, for general information, and isn't legal or tax advice.

Do the fees stay up to date?

Yes. The widget loads from FormCost every time, so it always shows the same fees as our state pages, re-checked against official state sources each week (last checked October 28, 2026).

Do I have to link to FormCost?

Please keep the small "LLC fees by FormCost" credit visible. We don’t require a followed link; the credit is nofollow by default and you can leave it that way.
